Agriculture futures trade mostly lower on CBOT

[October 01, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery rose 12 cents to $6.80 a bushel; December corn fell 25.5 cents to $4.875 a bushel; December oats declined 2 cents to $3.16 a bushel; November soybeans fell 49 cents to $10.45 a bushel.

Beef futures traded higher and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.85 cent to 98.90 cents a pound; October cattle added 1.2 cents to $1.04 a pound; October lean hogs gained 0.02 cent to 68.57 cents a pound; February pork bellies slipped 3 cents to 93.75 cents a pound.
