Agriculture futures end trading lower on CBOT

[October 03, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 33.75 cents to $6.36 a bushel; December corn slipped 30 cents to $4.54 a bushel; December oats lost 11.5 cents to $3.10 a bushel; November soybeans declined 49 cents to $10.04 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 2.87 cents to 95.7 cents a pound; October cattle lost 2.98 cents to $1.0057 a pound; October lean hogs slipped 1.77 cents to 65.95 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.33 cent to 91.82 cents a pound.
