Agriculture futures end trading mixed on CBOT

[October 08, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery rose 8 cents to $6.0325 a bushel; December corn fell 7 cents to $4.17 a bushel; December oats lost 0.25 cent to $2.9375 a bushel; November soybeans added 4 cents to $9.26 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.8 cent to 93.4 cents a pound; October cattle added 1.53 cents to 99.2 cents a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.43 cent to 66.9 cents a pound; February pork bellies gained 0.3 cent to 93.35 cents a pound.
