Ag futures fall on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 11, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures slid Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

CivicWheat for December delivery fell 41.25 cents to $5.635 a bushel; December corn fell 30 cents to $4.0825 a bushel; December oats fell 19 cents to $2.785 a bushel; November soybeans fell 70 cents to $9.10 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 3 cents to 89.12 cents a pound; October feeder cattle fell 3 cents to 95.45 cents a pound; October lean hogs fell .97 cent to 66 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.78 cents to 86.47 cents a pound.
