Water main flushing program in Mount Pulaski

[October 14, 2008]  MOUNT PULASKI -- The water department in Mount Pulaski will be flushing the water mains on the following dates: Tuesday, Oct. 28, and Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Flushing the system will be in the evening, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The water main flushing will cause the water to become cloudy, but the water is safe to drink. The cloudiness will last approximately one day after each flushing. Laundry should be scheduled accordingly.
