Ag futures fall on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 16, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 17.25 cents to $5.5575 a bushel; December corn lost 23.25 cent to $3.880 a bushel; December oats fell 8 cents to $2.840 a bushel; November soybeans fell 38 cents to $8.580 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 2.3 cents to 89.22 cents a pound; October feeder cattle lost 0.80 cent to 96.40 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 2.43 cents to 58.07 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 1.7 cents to 84.97 cents a pound.
