Ag futures mostly down on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 17, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 0.5 cent to $5.5525 a bushel; December corn lost 3.5 cents to $3.845 a bushel; December oats fell 3.5 cents to $2.805 a bushel; November soybeans rose 9 cents to $8.670 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.23 cent to 89.45 cents a pound; October feeder cattle gained 0.40 cent to 96.80 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 2.10 cents to 55.97 cents a pound; February pork bellies lost 0.27 cent to 84.70 cents a pound.
