[October 18, 2008]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Late-night TV show hosts continued to find humor in the presidential campaign, which recently provided its latest gift to comedians: Joe the Plumber. A sampling from Friday night:

---

Civic"Of course, all of this media attention has gone to (Joe the Plumber's) head. He now wants to be known as The Plumber Formally Known as Joe." - Jay Leno, NBC's "Tonight Show."

---

"Not since 'Sling Blade' has there been a voice that ANYBODY could do. Anybody could take a swing at this voice." - Tina Fey on parodying Sarah Palin on "Saturday Night Live," during a guest appearance on CBS's "Late Show."

---

"Every now and then I look and her and I think that lady is about exactly as smart as me, and that's not enough." - Fey on Palin, on CBS's "Late Show."

---

"In a speech earlier this week, John McCain said the following: He said, `I've been fighting for the United States of America since I was 17 years old.' Then he said, `Of course back then it was called Pangea.'" - Conan O'Brien, on NBC's "Late Night."
