winners at speech contest

Students from Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln
excelled at the Logan County Music and Athletic Association Speech
Contest on Saturday.
Earning Judges Choice awards and No. 1 ratings were Joe Ahrends,
impromptu; Teran Madigan, solo acting; Kendall Katz and Grace Sheley,
improvisational duet; Jesse and Josh Mangano, duet acting; Jason
Sheley and Grace Sheley, duet acting; and Josh Mangano and Caleb
Sager, improvisational duet. |

Other No. 1 ratings went to Jason Sheley and Jesse Mangano,
improvisational duet; Justin Broom and Aaron Butler, improvisational
duet; Kendall Katz, solo acting; and Grace Sheley, storytelling.
No. 2 ratings went to Andrew Wibben and Lukas Nash, improvisational
duet; and Rachel Marlin and Kathryn Arneaud, duet acting.
