Ag futures fall on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 22, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures dropped Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 14.5 cents to $5.490 a bushel; December corn slid 7.5 cents to $4.110 a bushel; December oats fell 11 cents to $2.770 a bushel; November soybeans dropped 21 cents to $9.080 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 1 cent to 91.82 cents a pound; October feeder cattle gained 0.62 cent to 99.27 cents a pound; December lean hogs rose 1.52 cents to 57.77 cents a pound; February pork bellies settled up 1.90 cents to 90.95 cents a pound.
