Ag futures fall on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 23, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures dropped Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for December delivery fell 31.25 cents to $5.1775 a bushel; December corn slid 26 cents to $3.850 a bushel; December oats fell 12 cents to $2.650 a bushel; November soybeans dropped 49 cents to $8.590 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.67 cent to 91.15 cents a pound; October feeder cattle dropped 0.30 cent to 98.97 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 0.12 cent to 57.65 cents a pound; February pork bellies settled down 3 cents to 87.95 cents a pound.
