Ag futures mostly rose on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 24, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for December delivery rose 5.25 cents to $5.230 a bushel; December corn gained 5.25 cents to $3.9025 a bushel; December oats fell 10 cents to $2.550 a bushel; November soybeans climbed 25.5 cents to $8.84500 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures mostly dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 1.4 cents to 89.75 cents a pound; October feeder cattle dropped 1.2 cents to 97.77 cents a pound; December lean hogs rose 0.27 cent to 57.92 cents a pound; February pork bellies settled down 1.48 cents to 86.47 cents a pound.
