Ag futures fall on Chicago Board of Trade

[October 31, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for December delivery fell 23.25 cents at $5.380 a bushel; December corn dropped 11.25 cents to $4.095 a bushel; December oats was unchanged at $2.395 a bushel; November soybeans lost 3.25 cents to $9.340 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 1.85 cents to 93.50 cents a pound; October feeder cattle gained 0.27 cent to 96.07 cents a pound; December lean hogs fell 1.57 cents to 56 cents a pound; February pork bellies settled down 0.62 cent to 86.75 cents a pound.
