An unanticipated, widespread
power outage sent power repairmen scrambling Thursday night. The
past-most-bedtimes outage lasted between 30 minutes and an hour and
a half and was located from Logan Street westward and north. It
included Lincoln College and Lawndale. Terry Storer with the Logan
County Emergency Management Agency said that AmerenCILCO
representatives did not yet know the cause at last report.
