Agriculture futures end trading lower on CBOT

[September 06, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 25.5 cents to $7.515 a bushel; December corn fell 16 cents to $5.485 a bushel; December oats lost 2 cents to $3.41 a bushel; November soybeans shed 58 cents to $11.77 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.35 cent to $1.0295 a pound; October cattle gained 0.30 cent to $1.1067 a pound; October lean hogs rose 0.4 cent to 69.42 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 1.32 cents to 86.1 cents a pound.
