Angels win twice

[September 08, 2008]  The Angels of Lincoln Christian College won two matches Saturday by defeating Grace University of Omaha, Neb., and Greenville College.

DonutsThe Angels improved their record to 6-2 for the season in defeating the Royals of Grace 25-19, 25-19, 25-22 and the Panthers of Greenville 25-20, 25-23, 25-21.

In prevailing over Grace, the Angels were led by Krystine Schnautz with 14 kills, Adriane Tschantz with 11 kills, Jamie McFadden with eight kills, and Megan Donnelly with 36 assists and nine digs.

In the Greenville match, the Angels were led by Tschantz with 12 kills and 17 digs, Schnautz with 11 kills, McFadden with nine kills and five digs, Donnelly with 32 assists and nine digs, and Jessica Schroeder with 18 digs.

In the opening match of the day, Greenville defeated Grace in four games 25-21, 25-19, 19-25 and 25-13.
