[September 09, 2008]  As another harvest season begins, the Logan County Highway Department reminds the traveling public to be aware of the increased farm traffic on roadways. Farm traffic may be entering and exiting the roadway away from intersections. Many of these vehicles will be traveling at reduced speeds.

Those who will be hauling commodities need to be aware of the posted weight limits on roads and bridges. The maximum weight limit for all Logan County highways is 73,280 pounds. For further information on laws pertaining to weight limits, visit www.co.logan.il.us/highwaydept/.
