[September 09, 2008]  The newly formed Lincoln Military Support Group wants to inform the public that they and the Lincoln Fire Department will host a Sept. 11 ceremony in front of the fire station downtown.

DonutsAny police, fire, EMS or military personnel who would like to attend, as well as the public, should start arriving at 9 a.m. Thursday. Weather permitting, LFD is going have the ladder truck out with the American flag.

A moment of silence will be held at the times each of the two towers at the World Trade Center fell.

For those needing further information, they can call Tomika Rehmann at 217-737-7764 or Mark Miller, LFD, at 217-735-4020.
