Agriculture futures end trading higher on CBOT

[September 18, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery rose 35.75 cents to $7.2575 a bushel; December corn added 21.75 cents to $5.54 a bushel; December oats gained 6.75 cents to $3.33 a bushel; November soybeans rose 15 cents to $11.39 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle slipped 0.15 cent to $1.026 a pound; October cattle lost 1.37 cents to $1.063 a pound; October lean hogs added 0.8 cent to 68.27 cents a pound; February pork bellies fell 0.02 cent to 90.1 cents a pound.
