Agriculture futures end trading lower on CBOT

[September 19, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

CivicWheat for December delivery fell 33 cents to $6.9275 a bushel; December corn slipped 26.75 cents to $5.2725 a bushel; December oats lost 8 cents to $3.25 a bushel; November soybeans dropped 23 cents to $11.16 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle shed 2.10 cents to $1.005 a pound; October cattle fell 2.13 cents to $1.0417 a pound; October lean hogs lost 0.45 cent to 67.82 cents a pound; February pork bellies declined 1.9 cents to 88.2 cents a pound.
