[September 24, 2008]  DivorceCare will explore the role of depression in healing when the seminar and support group meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, at Jefferson Street Christian Church, 1700 N. Jefferson.

DivorceCare is a video seminar series featuring experts on divorce and recovery topics such as coping with anger and loneliness, financial survival, and single parenting. Each session also includes a group discussion.

"Facing My Depression" looks at losses that accompany divorce and how they contribute to depression, and identifies effective ways of dealing with that depression. The video features psychology professor Archibald Hart, Ph.D., and pastoral ministries professor David Seamands, Ph.D.

DivorceCare will meet on Mondays through Nov. 24. Participants may join the group at any time during the series; preregistration is not required. Cost of the DivorceCare workbook is $12. Child care is available.
