Agriculture futures trade mostly higher on CBOT

[September 24, 2008]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures traded mostly higher Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 12.75 cents to $7.505 a bushel; December corn added 1.75 cents to $5.6025 a bushel; December oats gained 2 cents to $3.43 a bushel; November soybeans fell 18 cents to $11.87 a bushel.

Beef futures traded lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle lost 0.25 cent to $1.022 a pound; October feeder cattle slipped 0.45 cent to $1.066 a pound; October lean hogs dropped 1.05 cents to 66.3 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.28 cents to 95 cents a pound.
