[September 29, 2008]  EUREKA -- The Angels of Lincoln Christian College improved their volleyball record to 12-4 by winning two out of three matches at the Eureka Invitational Tournament on Saturday.

HardwareAfter winning a five-game match against Rose-Hulman 26-24, 21-25, 22-25, 25-22 and 15-12, LCC lost to Millikin University 13-25, 19-25 and 16-25, and then defeated Eureka College 25-16, 27-25 and 25-15.

In the match against Rose-Hulman, Jamie McFadden had 28 kills and 15 digs, Adriane Tschantz had 23 kills and 10 digs, Krystine Schnautz had 13 kills, and Nicki Wingfield had 10 kills. Megan Donnelly added 70 assists and 16 digs, and Jessica Schroeder contributed 15 digs.

Against Millikin, Wingfield and McFadden each had eight kills, while Donnelly contributed 21 assists.

In the nightcap against Eureka, the Angels were led by Schnautz with 16 kills and three blocks, Tschantz with 14 kills and eight digs, and Donnelly with 35 assists.
