[September 30, 2008]  TIGARD, Ore. (AP) -- A robber with a ski mask tried to rob an 85-year-old woman at her Tigard-area home but fled with only $6. The woman opened her door at about 9 p.m. Saturday to find someone standing there in a ski mask.

She couldn't tell whether it was a man or woman but whoever it was pointed something at her from under a shirt and demanded money.

She grabbed the shirt and wrestled with the intruder, who threatened to shoot her but never showed a gun.

The robber demanded all of her money and she gave him the $6. He fled and the woman called police. Washington County sheriff's deputies put a search dog on the case but with no results.
