The Oasis,
Logan County's senior citizen center, 501 Pulaski St. in Lincoln, is
open weekdays, except holidays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center
also is open on Friday and Sunday nights for table games. Dominic
Dalpoas is the executive director. Activities are open to all Logan
County senior citizens, regardless of membership. Friends of The
Oasis members receive a bimonthly newsletter by mail and reduced

Bingo sponsored by Maple Ridge Maple Ridge Care Centre will
sponsor the bingo games at The Oasis on Thursday, April 2, beginning
at 1 p.m.
Senior bowling at Logan Lanes
The senior center is partnering with Logan Lanes for Senior Bowl
Day on Friday, April 3, beginning at 10 a.m. No-tap bowling. Prizes
will be given for high and low games. Bring in a new senior bowler
and you bowl free that week.
Free blood pressure checks
The Oasis offers free blood pressure checking every Friday
from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Oasis Belles
The Oasis Red Hat group will meet on Tuesday, April 7 at 11 a.m. After the
meeting, lunch is available for purchase. Please call by noon Monday for a lunch reservation.
Tuesday's lunch
The 11:30 a.m. lunch for April 7 features creamed chicken over
biscuit, carrots, salad and dessert for a suggested donation of
$3.75. If you stay to play cards, the cost is $3.25. The reservation
deadline is Monday noon.
