Agriculture futures trade mostly lower on the CBOT

[April 02, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 7.25 cents to $5.255 a bushel; May corn dropped 8.75 cents to $3.96 a bushel; May oats fell 2.5 cents to $1.905 a bushel; and May soybeans were unchanged at $9.52 a bushel.

Beef futures were lower and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle fell 0.33 cent to 81.37 cents a pound; May feeder cattle slipped 0.3 cent to 93.95 cents a pound; June lean hogs edged down 0.95 cent to 71.45 cents a pound; and May pork bellies rose 0.45 cent to 87 cents a pound.
