Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[April 07, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery fell 6.5 cents to $5.57 a bushel; May corn gained 1 cent to $4.055 a bushel; May oats rose 1 cent to $2 a bushel; and May soybeans lost 1.5 cents to $9.94 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle inched up 0.2 cent to 84.37 cents a pound; May feeder cattle rose 0.75 cent to 97.45 cents a pound; June lean hogs fell 0.9 cent to 72.75 cents a pound; and May pork bellies advanced 0.98 cent to 89.8 cents a pound.
