The alumni celebration starts with a wine and cheese reception,
featuring Willett's Winery and Cellar of Manito, from 5:30 to 6:45
p.m. in the McKinstry Memorial Library. The cost is $10 per person.
During the reception, guests will have access to the annual Lincoln
student art exhibit in the Layman Art Gallery and to the Lincoln
Heritage Museum. Immediately following the reception, alumni and
guests are invited to the library lecture hall to listen and laugh
as the Lincoln College improvisational team and African percussion
ensemble provide a special performance. Community members,
students, faculty and alumni are invited to the fourth annual Run,
Ramble and Roll, a 5K run and noncompetitive one-mile walk, which
starts promptly at 9:30 a.m. April 25. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.
at the Meyer-Evans Student Center, and the cost is $25 per person or
$50 for a family of four. Each participant will receive a T-shirt
and a post-race brunch served in the college cafeteria. Proceeds
from the race will benefit the Lincoln College scholarship fund.
The Athletic Department, along with Alumni Relations, will host a
meet and greet with current and former Lynx coaches from 11 a.m. to
1 p.m. in the Alumni Room of the Meyer-Evans Student Center. Former
Lynx athletic director and head baseball coach Chuck Lindstrom will
be on hand to reminisce with former players. He will also receive an
award later at the alumni dinner.
Former Lynx athletes will have the chance to relive some memories
as they play on the floor of the Davidson-Sheffer Gymnasium.
Volleyball will take the floor at 1 p.m., followed by women's
basketball at 2 and ending with a men's basketball game at 3 p.m.
The cost to play in the alumni games is $5 and includes a T-shirt.
The same T-shirt is available to non-players to purchase for $10.

Radio broadcast students will host on-air interviews with this
year's alumni award recipients at 1 p.m. at the WLNX radio station.
Alumni are also invited to take part in guided tours of the
campus, which will be available beginning at noon, starting from the
college bookstore.
This year the alumni dinner and awards program will take place at
the Maple Club. The reception will begin at 5 p.m., with dinner at 6
p.m. and the program at 7 p.m. Chuck Lindstrom will receive the
Honorary Alumni Award, and UFC fighter Matt Hughes ('95) will
receive the Young Alumni Achievement Award, presented this year for
the first time. The Class of 1959 will celebrate their golden
anniversary and the Class of 1984 celebrates their silver
anniversary. Alumni and friends may make reservations for $30 per
person.
