[April 10, 2009]  FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) -- Wildfires that have raged in parts of northern Texas have killed at least two people.

Family members of former WFAA-TV reporter Matt Quinn and his wife, Cathy, told the station the couple was killed Thursday when fire overtook their home about five miles from Montague.

The station reports the couple's son was treated for burns at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and was in fair condition.

A Montague County sheriff's dispatcher declined to discuss the deaths Friday.

Wind-whipped fires destroyed dozens of homes in the Montague County towns of Sunset and Stoneburg on Thursday.
