Students to be initiated into Phi Theta Kappa at Lincoln College

[April 13, 2009]  The Iota Chi Chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa fraternity at Lincoln College will induct 11 new members at its initiation ceremonies April 20 at 4 p.m. Phi Theta Kappa is the junior college academic honor society.

Students who qualified for membership are:

  • Mallory Carpenter of Lincoln

  • Cameron Curtis of Verona, Wis.

  • Brandon Framer of Middletown

  • Michael Grigsby of Evergreen Park

  • Craig Hall of Galesburg

  • Kelsi Kelly of Springfield, Mo.

  • Rachel Market of Pittsfield

  • William Pozsgai of Lincoln

  • Victoria Simmons of Rockford

  • Danielle Stanley of Dolton

  • Amber Wilson of Lincoln

The criteria to be initiated into Phi Theta Kappa are sophomore status and having a high cumulative grade-point average. PTK faculty advisers John Welter and Chris Gray will welcome new members along with their families to the annual induction ceremony, which will be in the Alumni Room of the Meyer-Evans Student Center.
