Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[April 16, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery were 7 cents lower at $5.1525 a bushel; May corn lost 9.75 cents to $3.845 a bushel; May oats edged down 2 cents to $1.90 a bushel; and May soybeans fell 1 cent to $10.35 a bushel.

Beef futures rose and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle gained 0.97 cent to 84.77 cents a pound; May feeder cattle advanced 1.42 cents to 99.92 cents a pound; June lean hogs rose 0.45 cent to 73.05 cents a pound; and May pork bellies fell 1 cent to 86.8 cents a pound.
