Agriculture futures trade mixed on CBOT

[April 25, 2009]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery jumped 2.5 cents to $5.4325 a bushel, while July corn added 4.25 cents to $3.8575 a bushel and July soybeans rose 2 cents to $10.34 a bushel. Oats for May delivery slipped 0.75 cent to $1.9325 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures and pork futures fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle lost 0.87 cent to 82.6 cents a pound, while May feeder cattle slipped 0.8 cent to 99.12 cents a pound. June lean hogs fell 0.22 cent to 71.65 cents a pound, and May pork bellies edged down 0.75 cent to 81.5 cents a pound.
