Rod Barajas was 3-for-5 with two RBIs and Jose Bautista homered in the ninth for Toronto, which has won seven of its last nine games. Bautista's solo shot gave the Blue Jays a season-high 14 runs to go along with their season-best 21 hits.
Gavin Floyd (2-2), a 17-game winner last season, had his shortest outing since Aug. 5, 2008, against Detroit. He allowed six runs, five earned, in 4 1-3 innings. He also walked five, threw two wild pitches and struck out five.
With winds gusting up to 30 mph and plenty of run support, Brian Tallet (1-0) had little trouble with the White Sox lineup. He allowed four hits in 5 2-3 innings.
Tallet took Jesse Litsch's spot in the rotation after he went to the disabled list with a strained right forearm. He retired six of the last seven batters he faced and left with a 12-0 lead.

Toronto pushed across three runs in the first, helped by shortstop Alexei Ramirez's first error of the season. Vernon Wells hit a two-run double and scored on Lind's first double.
The Blue Jays carried a 6-0 lead into the sixth and put the game away with six runs. Rod Barajas, Travis Snider and Marco Scutaro had RBI singles, Hill doubled in a pair of runs and Alex Rios added a sacrifice fly.
Jack Egbert was charged six runs and seven hits in 1 2-3 innings for the White Sox.
