a sparkling success

Saturday was the first dog wash of the summer and it was a great success. The Logan County Humane Society washed a record number of dogs. Can you believe 75 dogs in four hours? Profits will be close to $1,000. A lot of people worked very hard to make this the wonderful event that it was. Heartfelt thanks go out to all who helped and to all who brought their dogs. If you want to wash dogs or help with the next wash, please call Lynn White, 217-732-4540, or Wanda Stevens, 217-648-2703.

"I'm not sure about all of this."

"Are you kidding? This is great!"

"Oh, man, I wish this was over with."

"All you have to do is chill out and get a good wash job, buddy."

"Anyone know what's going on back there?"

"You have got to admit, I look great."
