Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[August 11, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery rose 4.75 cents to $4.9425 a bushel, while September corn rose 2.25 cents to $3.2425 a bushel and December oats fell 3 cents to $2.08 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery sank 28.5 cents to $10.10 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures fell and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle lost 0.8 cent to 88.32 cents a pound; September feeder cattle fell 0.67 cent to $1.003 a pound; October lean hogs inched up 0.1 cent to 45 cents a pound; and August pork bellies fell 3 cents to 48.75 cents a pound.
