4-H Foundation Scholarship winners announced

[August 13, 2009]  The Logan County 4-H Foundation recently presented scholarships to four Logan County 4-H members at 4-H Night during the Logan County Fair.

Andrew Fulton, son of John and Sherry Fulton, a graduate of Lincoln Community High School received a $500 Xamis/4-H Foundation Scholarship. Andrew currently attends the University of Illinois and will be in his last year of working toward his degree in agricultural engineering with a concentration in soil and water conservation.

Andy Lindgren, son of Jim and Diane Lindgren, an Olympia High School graduate, received a $500 4-H Foundation Scholarship. Andy is attending the University of Illinois and is an animal science, pre-veterinary medicine major. He plans to become a large-animal veterinarian.

Mathew Runyon, son of Dale and Roberta Runyon, a recent graduate of Lincoln Community High School, received a $500 Graue Inc./4-H Foundation scholarship. Mathew is currently attending Heartland Community College with plans to transfer to Bradley University in the future and major in civil engineering.

Auto Sales

Zack Huffer, son of Jeff and Patty Huffer, also a recent graduate of Lincoln Community High School, received a $500 Ross Conrady Memorial/4-H Foundation Scholarship. Zack will attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville this fall and plans to major in biology.
