"This employee is an asset to our department with
her knowledge of the front desk and other vital areas. Heather is
always willing to help out and answer questions when the rest of us
do not know the answer," says Vicki Harmon, a co-worker who
nominated Rodgers for the award. "She is pleasant to the patients to
make sure they have a great experience while they are here. If there
is something she can't help with, she promptly makes sure to find
someone who can."An administrative assistant in radiology,
Rodgers has worked at ALMH for four years, transferring after a year
at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She has the credential of
Certified Healthcare Access Associate.
Her position requires a medical background and the ability to
perform many administrative tasks. Rodgers does "everything except
take images" in radiology. She loves it and looks forward to each
shift.
"If you're looking for a challenge, this is the job. Nothing is
ever the same. Every day is a new adventure," Rodgers says. "I love
the people. I love making sure that all patients are exposed to a
great patient experience."
ALMH employs more than 290 in a wide variety of job functions. A
