Agriculture futures, livestock prices mostly lower

[August 14, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures mostly fell Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for December delivery dropped 8.5 cents to $5.0925 a bushel, while December corn slid 4.25 cents to $3.32 a bushel and November soybeans tumbled 25.25 cents to $10.1875 a bushel. Oats for December delivery gained 0.5 cent to $2.15 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures dropped on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle slipped 0.15 cent to 88.20 cents a pound; October feeder cattle dipped 0.10 cent to $1.0007 a pound; October lean hogs added 1.43 cents to 45.40 cents a pound; and August pork bellies fell 2.25 cents to 40.50 cents a pound.
