[August 14, 2009]  AUSTIN, Minn. (AP) -- A 73-year-old man got tired of having his home burglarized, so he set up a motion-activated camera and caught a thief. On July 12, the camera photographed a woman carrying several items out of the man's house about noon. Then she returned and took more things about midnight.

Police investigated and determined the suspect was a 41-year-old woman. She was charged with three counts of second-degree burglary.

The criminal complaint said the woman told investigators she had canoed several times along Turtle Creek behind the man's home and thought it was abandoned.

She admitted stealing several items, saying it was "wrong" and "stupid." On July 23, she returned several items to police -- but the man said some things are still missing.
