[August 28, 2009]  NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Highlights of this summer's CMA Music Festival will air Monday on ABC, with performances by Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Reba McEntire, Kid Rock and many more.

"CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock" will air 8-11 p.m. EDT. This is the sixth year the Country Music Association's four-day festival has been filmed for network TV.

Besides musical performances, the show will feature offstage moments with the stars.

The CMA says attendance at the June festival averaged 56,000 a day, up from 52,000 a year ago.

Known as "Fan Fair" when it started in 1972, the festival is a chance for fans to see performances and even meet their favorite country singers.
