Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[August 29, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

RestaurantWheat for December delivery dropped 7.75 cents to $4.9525 a bushel, while December corn slipped 0.25 cent to $3.29 a bushel and December oats fell 5 cents to $2.25 a bushel. Soybeans for November delivery jumped 15 cents to $10.11 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures traded lower and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle fell 0.87 cent to 86.7 cents a pound; October feeder cattle lost 0.92 cent to 98.05 cents a pound; October lean hogs gained .17 cent to 48.07 cents a pound; and February pork bellies rose 0.7 cent to 76.5 cents a pound.
