United Way at Scully Park today. $500 in IGA groceries prize in this year's annual fundraiser

[August 29, 2009]  After a rainout during Heritage Days, the United Way of Logan County decided to try their hand at selling raffle tickets at Scully Park again this Saturday.

Situated on the northwest corner of the park, volunteers will be on hand to sell tickets to win $500 in free Lincoln IGA groceries.

The tickets are only $1 each or six for $5.

The drawing for the lucky winner will be Sept 14 at the kickoff breakfast. The winner need not be present to win.

For the year 2010, the United Way of Logan County has earmarked funds for 14 charities and causes in the area.
