Agriculture futures trade lower on the CBOT

[December 03, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures fell Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery slid 8 cents to $5.76 a bushel, while March corn fell 8 cents to $4.065 a bushel and oats for March delivery lost 4 cents to $2.635 a bushel. January soybeans dropped 25.5 cents to $10.34 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle shed 0.55 cent to 84.27 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.48 cent to 93.95 cents a pound; December lean hogs edged up 0.45 cent to 59.67 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 2.3 cents to 82.3 cents a pound.
