Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 10, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 4.5 cents to $5.3525 a bushel, while March corn lost 1.5 cents to $3.835 a bushel and oats for March delivery rose 1.5 cents to $2.545 a bushel. January soybeans dropped 15.5 cents to $10.285 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle shed 1.2 cents to 81.92 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1 cent to 91.05 cents a pound; February lean hogs slipped 0.05 cent to 65.07 cents a pound; and February pork bellies edged down 0.45 cent to 83.25 cents a pound.
