Agriculture, livestock futures mostly higher

[December 11, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mostly higher Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery gained 1.75 cents to $5.37 a bushel; March corn jumped 9.5 cents to $3.93 a bushel; March oats rose 1.5 cents to $2.56 a bushel; but January soybeans dropped 1.5 cents to $10.27 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures were mostly higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.25 cent to 82.17 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 0.33 cent to 90.72 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.35 cent to 65.42 cents a pound; and February pork bellies gained 1.8 cents to 85.05 cents a pound.
