Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 15, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 6 cents to $5.435 a bushel, while March corn added 4 cents to $4.085 a bushel and oats for March delivery slipped 0.25 cent to $2.5875 a bushel. January soybeans jumped 20 cents to $10.55 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef and pork futures traded higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle edged up 0.68 cent to 83.95 cents a pound; January feeder cattle gained 0.33 cent to 91.9 cents a pound; February lean hogs rose 0.45 cent to 65.87 cents a pound; and February pork bellies climbed 3 cents to 89.1 cents a pound.
