Tuesday night brought to a
conclusion the city council "roadshow," as the fifth and final meeting
was held at Lincoln Christian Church. The church is located on
McLean Street, just one block north of City Hall, and is in Ward 4.
Aldermen Buzz Busby and Nathan Turner hosted the event.

Before the meeting began, Busby (center)
discussed sewer and water treatment-related subjects with waste
treatment manager Bob Tackett (right) as Jeff Hoinacki looked on. |
Meanwhile Nathan Turner (left) and Kathy Horn
(right) check out the punch that Judy Busby (center) is serving to
guests. |

Busby offered opening comments about his
ward, its downtown location and importance to the city.
|
Turner also spoke about the historic
attributes of Ward 4. |

The evening started out with a good
attendance. While some were on hand to witness recognitions given
to Cpl. Dave Oltmanns and the soon-to-be-retired Jim Kirk, there
were also interested Ward 4 residents present.
