Agriculture futures trade mixed on the CBOT

[December 19, 2009]    CHICAGO (AP) -- Agriculture futures were mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March delivery rose 9.5 cents to $5.28 a bushel, while March corn edged up 0.75 cent to $3.9775 a bushel and oats for March delivery gained 1.25 cents to $2.6025 a bushel. January soybeans dropped 10 cents to $10.12 a bushel.

Meanwhile, beef futures advanced and pork futures traded lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.3 cent to 84.85 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.75 cent to 94.72 cents a pound; February lean hogs lost 0.43 cent to 65.12 cents a pound; and February pork bellies fell 1.8 cents to 86.2 cents a pound.
