Community Action Early Head Start seeks dynamic, organized, self-motivated individuals for two newly created positions at the corporate office in Lincoln.

                                                                       

EARLY HEAD START MANAGER

Key responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff; enhancing and developing relationships with community partners, families, regulatory agencies, school district staff, healthcare and mental health professionals and the general public; assuring compliance with HHS standards. Requirements include: BA with 18 hours in Early Childhood Education, at least 3 years in teaching and/or supervisory experience in an early childhood (infant & toddler) program, ability to work without supervision. Travel within the service area, valid driver’s license and the ability to work flexible hours is required.

 

EARLY HEAD START DATA SERVICES SPECIALIST

Responsible for assuring compliance with HHS Early Head Start Performance Standards concerning eligibility, selection, enrollment and attendance. Gathering and entering all relevant information into established software categories. Successful candidate will have experience in Database, Web Base and Microsoft Office applications, high school diploma or GED, demonstrated written, oral and communication skills, willingness to complete required certifications and a desire to work with staff, children, families, volunteers and professionals in the community.
