There was a steady flow of
people entering and leaving the third-floor jury room of the Logan
County Courthouse last Wednesday, Dec. 23. But rather than
decisions on any court case, the only debate was on which desserts
and side dishes to sample. The event was throwback to days of old
when the Logan County Board served employees a Christmas lunch.
Board members kicked in to buy a delicious roast pork loin and
trimmings fixed by the jail cook, and county employees brought a
favorite side dish or dessert to share.
